Growth Characteristics
Creeper mushrooms develop large, bell-shaped caps that mature from yellowish-brown to a golden hue with a darker centre. The caps often retain remnants of the universal veil, creating a speckled appearance. Stems can grow up to 150 mm and bruise a bluish-green when handled. The persistent annulus (ring) from the partial veil remains visible as the mushroom matures.
