Orissa India from MissyMyco Orissa India is my most favorite spore strain to study ever. All the way from India. This strain can grow EXTREMELY large in the wild. Manure and dung based substrates will help in this respect. This strain of cubensis is said to be one of the largest growing anyone has seen. Originally brought to us my entheo mycologist John Allen and passed to SporeBuddies.com By MissyMyco. Ever seen dinner plate sized mushrooms? Even on simple rice cakes in Amsterdam this one grows some rather large mushrooms. Orissa ?also known as? Orissa India produces fruit bodies with large caps that can grow to the size of dinner plates. The center of the cap is brown fading outwards to brownish-yellow and white around the edges; the thin stems are yellowish- brown. To view the spores of Orissa India is to see into worlds that are far away from earth I can tell you that much.

Description

Orissa India Spore Syringe from MissyMyco.

Orissa India is by far one of my favorite spore strains to study. Originating from India, this strain of Psilocybe cubensis is renowned for its potential to grow extremely large mushrooms, even in the wild. When cultivated on manure or dung-based substrates, this strain can produce some of the largest mushrooms seen in any strain of cubensis.

First brought to the public’s attention by entheomycologist John Allen, this impressive strain was passed along to SporeBuddies.com by MissyMyco. If you’ve ever wanted to see mushrooms with caps as large as dinner plates, Orissa India is the strain to study. Even when grown on simple substrates like rice cakes, as seen in Amsterdam, these mushrooms can grow to an enormous size.

The Orissa India spore print produces fruit bodies with large caps, which can indeed grow to dinner plate size. The center of the cap is brown, fading outward to a brownish-yellow, with white around the edges. The stems are thin and yellowish-brown, giving them a distinct appearance. Studying the spores of Orissa India under a microscope reveals fascinating patterns, offering a glimpse into worlds far removed from our own.

This strain is perfect for those looking to explore the mycology of giant mushroom strains or collect spore prints for further study and cultivation. If you’re interested in observing or cultivating massive fruit bodies, Orissa India is a strain worth researching.
