This waterproof mushroom heating mat has been designed to provide gentle, controlled warmth for mushroom cultivation environments where stable temperatures are important for healthy mycelium development.
Supplied with a digital thermostat controller and external temperature probe, the system allows accurate temperature regulation while helping reduce the temperature fluctuations commonly caused by colder rooms and changing seasonal conditions.

Recommended Mushroom Temperature Settings
These settings are general starting recommendations based on typical indoor growing conditions.

For best results, place the temperature probe directly underneath the centre of the grow container being heated.
The Recommended Heat Mat + Towel + Box Setup
For improved efficiency, place the heat mat on an insulated surface such as a folded towel or thermal layer. This helps reduce heat loss underneath the mat and improves heat stability.
Many growers also place a loose clear storage box or propagator over the project to help retain warmth and create a more stable growing environment.
This setup can also assist passive environmental regulation through natural heating and cooling cycles occurring inside the enclosure.
As the air inside the box gently warms, it expands slightly and small amounts of air are pushed outward through tiny gaps. During cooling cycles, the air contracts and fresh air is naturally drawn back into the environment.
This creates a gentle passive “breathing” effect which may help reduce stagnant air while maintaining warmth and humidity.
Important Temperature Probe Placement
Placing the temperature probe in the air above the heat mat is not recommended.
Incorrect probe placement may cause inaccurate temperature readings and increase the risk of overheating beneath the grow container.
For accurate regulation and safer operation, always place the probe directly underneath the grow bag or monotub being heated.

- Press and hold the SET button until the display flashes
- Use the + and – buttons to select the desired temperature
- Press SET again to confirm
