May I present for your Mushroom Growing Pleasure…… The GrowBuddie60.
The GrowBuddie60 has been designed by MushBuddies.com and in conjunction with SporeBuddies.com to bring you an all in one Heated Mushroom Incubation come Mushroom Fruiting Chamber.
Housed within a double skinned stress resistant storage box and featuring our SystemSimple Plug and Play Digital Thermostat. The GrowBuddie60 is Sleek, Strong and very versatile.
Right out of the box you will see the simple but effective design of the Growbuddie60 is straight forward enough. The double skinned design has been around for a while now and works great for incubation chambers or any Mushroom grow chamber that needs to be well insulated. With two boxes inside each other and sealed together by the pre-melted ventilation holes along the now 6mm thick side walls. The Growbuddie60 is made to last.
We have added ventilation holes for you in the side walls. The vent holes can either be left open or closed with micropore tape or polyfill cushion stuffing. Blocking or partially blocking the air holes with breathable filter material will decrease the amount airflow through the box. The vent holes are melted through the plastic walls and this seals the unit together at the same time. Melted holes are much less likely to crack than drilled holes as the plastic is not removed with melting. Rather forming a re-enforcing ring around the melted vent hole.
All you need to do is remove the protective Uk Plug cover to Plug and Play. Simple.
The Growbuddie60 was originally designed to house The World Famous Inject and Forget Kits so we have taken the opportunity to factory set the thermostat to come on at 26 and go off at 27 for you. We feel these are the best conditions to both colonize and fruit the inject and forget bags.
You may find that your particular project may be best suited to temperatures different to those set by us. If this is the case you can easily set the digital thermostat in the following way.
When plugged in. The thermostat screen when left alone will show the current temperature sensed at the temperature sensor.
By Pressing and holding the left hand arrow you will be able to change the “turn on temp”. After holding down the left hand arrow for 3 seconds, you will be able to change the temperature by using the up and down arrow. We have set this at 26c.
When your happy.
Leave the thermostat stat for 5 seconds and it will again display the current sensor temperature.
By Pressing and holding the right hand arrow you will be able to change the “turn off temp”. After holding down the right hand arrow for 3 seconds, you will be able to change the temperature by using the up and down arrow. We have set this to 27c
So if you wanted to use the Growbuddie60 as a monotub you could set the temp to come on at 20 and go off at 21.
The growbuddie60 would then be able to maintain the temperature you set, 24hrs a day.
The Growbuddie60 is fully stackable with each box-set able to support 36kg in vertical weight. Feel free to add up to 6kg of projects to each box and stack 6 high knowing you will still be under 200cm in total height.
I understand that space in usually restricted for most mycologist and even the largest hobby space gets fill rather quickly.
Being able to stack your incubation and fruiting boxes like this will allow you to use your space most efficiently.
